Man suspected in 11 robberies

The FBI says a Valley City man who lived a transient lifestyle is the likely suspect in at least 11 bank robberies in the Dakotas, Minnesota and Iowa over the past five years.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The FBI says a Valley City man who lived a transient lifestyle is the likely suspect in at least 11 bank robberies in the Dakotas, Minnesota and Iowa over the past five years.

Special Agent E.K. Wilson says an analysis of evidence, methods of operation and physical descriptions all point to James Krimm.

The 42-year-old Krimm committed suicide on Sept. 14 when his vehicle got stuck in a field during a five-hour pursuit by police following a bank robbery in Williston.

The FBI wants to talk to anyone who may have worked with Krimm or had other contact with him.
