Four-year-old case still open

A death in Kidder County four years ago remains an open case. The body of Luverne Nastrom of Bismarck was found in a field northeast of Tuttle on Oct. 3, 2005.

STEELE, N.D. (AP) — A death in Kidder County four years ago remains an open case.

The body of Luverne Nastrom of Bismarck was found in a field northeast of Tuttle on Oct. 3, 2005.

Sheriff Doug Howard said he received some information after a $5,000 reward was offered in the case.

The sheriff said it appears Nastrom was struck by a car, which also was found at the scene. He also said Nastrom had head injuries.
