Montpelier Pageant set for Nov. 14

Three $500 cash scholarships will be awarded at the Montpelier Pageant to be held Nov. 14.

The pageant seeks young women, high school senior through age 24. Areas of competition include talent, interview, evening gown, lifestyle and fitness in swimsuit and on-stage question. Talents can be anything from singing, playing a musical instrument and dancing to monologues, comedic routines, ventriloquism and more.

The pageant gives contestants experience in interview, public speaking and presentation skills. Winners advance to the state competition in June to compete for thousands more in scholarship dollars.
