The mainstream media and its beloved socialist Democratic Party have shamelessly stooped to calling opponents of President Barack Obama’s Marxist agenda “racists” and “Nazis.” Let’s review history.

A Republican president ended slavery. Democrats instituted segregation. Democrat governor “Bull” Connor ordered the use of the fire hoses in Birmingham. A larger percentage of Republicans voted for the Civil Rights Act than Democrats, Democrat President John F. Kennedy reluctantly signed it. Sen. Robert Byrd D-W.Va., was a Klan member. All “race baiters” are Democrats. Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican. The Democratic Party is the home of racism.

The Nazi Party was a left-wing organization. Fascism includes national socialism, anti-capitalism, anti-individual rights, radical environmentalism, government takeovers of corporations and government run healthcare and retirement systems. Did I mention “national socialism?” Liberals idolized Adolf Hitler before he attacked their beloved Joseph Stalin. Fascism is a very close cousin of today’s liberalism.

World history is a story of poverty, prisons and murder resulting from government tyranny. Once, being wealthy was reserved for the political elite. If you were poor, then your children and grandchildren would be poor. People didn’t control their individual destinies until our nation was born. For a brief moment in history, man was given individual rights under a constitution stating what government cannot do to them. Our efforts and choices (not government) determine if we are rich or poor. Democrats want to end this wonderful chapter in history.

It’s not racism to desire freedom. The term “racist” is today’s most frequently used racial epithet. Use of the r-word is typically an act of racism, hatred and bigotry from the home of racism and a tool to push liberal agendas by intimidation.

Many conservatives stayed home or voted third party because Obama’s challenger was also a liberal/socialist. If this was about race or conservatives really were national socialists, they would have simply voted for Sen. John McCain and he would be our president today. Let’s get back to the issues.
