The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified an Ashley, N.D., woman killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.

The patrol said Marcia L. Davis, 58, was the driver of a southbound car on Highway 30 that was struck by a northbound pickup truck driven by Troy Allen Sayler, 40, Bismarck. The crash happened at about 5 p.m. 3 miles north of Streeter, N.D.

The patrol said Davis’ 2002 Buick crossed into the northbound lane where it was struck by Sayler’s 2008 Chevrolet Silverado. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene, the patrol said. Her passenger, Liam Lepp, 2, no city of residence provided, was injured. The child was in a car seat and Davis was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.

Sayler, who was wearing a seat belt, was injured.

Damages were estimated at $17,500 to the pickup and $12,000 to the car.

Agencies responding in addition to the patrol were Gackle Ambulance, Medina Ambulance, Medina Rescue and the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash is still under investigation, the patrol said.
