BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota has permission to sell 253 acres of Cass County farm land.
The property was part of a larger donation that was willed to UND by alumnus Burton Aarestad when he died in January 2003.
About 213 acres of land is near Fargo's Hector Airport, while another 40 acres is near West Fargo. Right now the property is being farmed.
North Dakota's Board of Higher Education voted Friday to give UND permission to sell the land.
