Getting a flu shot? Don’t get towed
Some people who came to a Bismarck flu shot clinic might have left feeling worse if the Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health staff members had not taken up a collection to prevent vehicles from being towed.
BISMARCK (AP) — Some people who came to a Bismarck flu shot clinic might have left feeling worse if the Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health staff members had not taken up a collection to prevent vehicles from being towed.
Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health supervisor Vonnie Ereth said two vehicles were parked in private parking spaces Thursday.
Ereth said the public health staff put up $100 in “coffee money” to keep the vehicles from being towed. But she said people coming to get flu vaccine should respect other businesses and obey signs.
Wagner Financial Services pays for private parking spots in the lot near the door. The spots are marked with warnings that violators will be towed.
