Car crashes into Minot house, pins girl

Minot police say a 15-year-old girl was injured when a car crashed into a house and landed on top of her.

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Minot police say a 15-year-old girl was injured when a car crashed into a house and landed on top of her.

Police Sgt. Chad Eagleson described the injuries as serious but not life-threatening.

Eagleson says emergency crews had to use air bags and jacks to get the car off the girl, who had been sleeping in her bed. She was taken to a local hospital after the incident shortly before midnight.

Police arrested the 21-year-old driver of the car on several charges, including aggravated driving under the influence.
