S.D. man sentenced to 2 years for solicitation
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — A 25-year-old Altamont man has been sentenced to two years in prison on his conviction for solicitation of a child.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — A 25-year-old Altamont man has been sentenced to two years in prison on his conviction for solicitation of a child.
Brian Todd Bublitz appeared in court Friday to receive his punishment. He also was ordered to complete sex offender counseling as a condition of parole.
Authorities said he drove to Sioux Falls in June to meet and have sex with someone he believed was a 13-year-old girl he had met online.
Bublitz was met by an undercover officer with whom he had been chatting with online for a year.
He pleaded guilty to the charge in August.
