Man pleads not guilty in child sex abuse case
A Killdeer man accused of having sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl has pleaded not guilty.
MANNING, N.D. (AP) — A Killdeer man accused of having sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl has pleaded not guilty.
A trial date was not immediately set for Kevin Sells, who was being held in a Dickinson jail on $10,000 bond.
Sells is charged with gross sexual imposition. Paula Johnson, also of Killdeer, is charged with abuse or neglect of a child for allegedly allowing Sells to have unsupervised contact with the girl after she became aware of the sexual abuse.
Johnson pleaded not guilty earlier. She is free after posting $1,000 bond.
