No charges in hockey fan fight

Grand Forks County prosecutors say they will not pursue charges against a man arrested after a fight among fans following a North Dakota-Minnesota hockey game.

GRAND FORKS (AP) — Grand Forks County prosecutors say they will not pursue charges against a man arrested after a fight among fans following a North Dakota-Minnesota hockey game.

Assistant State’s Attorney Nancy Yon said Monday that there is not enough evidence to support an aggravated assault charge against 28-year-old Peter Chwialkowski (fee-ah-KOS-kee), of Oslo, Minn.

Chwialkowski was arrested Oct. 16 after a fight that sent a 34-year-old Grand Forks man to the hospital.
