The Dressbarn Scholarship Program was developed back in 1996 and has given scholarships to more than 350 children of associates at Dressbarn and Maurices brands. This benefit is funded by the Jaffe Family Foundation and Dressbarn Inc.

Lacey Gohner was chosen from Jamestown and is the daughter of Doug and Lynette Gohner.

The scholarships are awarded on several key factors, such as grade point average, extra-curricular activities, future goals, a student essay, and financial need.

The scholarships average $3,000-$5,000 for each student to help them off-set higher education expenses.

This year, Maurices awarded $84,000 to the 18 students.
