Woman charged in counterfeiting case
A Grand Forks woman is accused of making and using counterfeit money.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A Grand Forks woman is accused of making and using counterfeit money.
Lolita Jewel Amick has pleaded not guilty in federal court to two counts. She faces up to 20 years in prison on each count.
Authorities say the alleged scheme took place in September. They would not release the amount of money involved.
Trial for the 33-year-old Amick is scheduled for Feb. 2 in Grand Forks.
