Teenager cited after school bus crash

An Enderlin, N.D., teenager was cited for care required after she rear-ended a school bus, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

An Enderlin, N.D., teenager was cited for care required after she rear-ended a school bus, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Krista Thielges, 15, Enderlin, was driving a 2001 Buick west on Second Street Southeast just before 12:15 p.m. Nov. 28.

Randall Bilden, 58, Leonard, N.D., was driving a 1999 Chevrolet school bus. He was also traveling west on Second Street Southeast.

The Buick was behind the bus. Thielges struck the bus in the rear, police said.

The Buick received $5,000 in damage. The bus sustained $1,000 in damage.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Thielges was cited for care required.
