George and Muriel Thomassen, missionaries to the Netherlands, will speak at 6 p.m. Sunday First Assembly of God Church.

The fastest growing churches in the Netherlands today are among the immigrant communities. The leaders of the Dutch Assemblies of God saw the need of better-trained pastors and opened an English-speaking division in their Bible school to serve the “migrant churches,” as they are known in the Netherlands. The Thomassens have spent the past several years teaching at this Pentecostal school, known as Azusa Theological Seminary.

During the previous 18 years, the Thomassens had served in Togo and Benin, Africa, training church leaders.

The public is invited to the service. The Thomassens will share their experiences in the Netherlands. They will be singing from their soon-to-be-released Gospel music CD. The service will include time for questions and answers about the work of missions in the Netherlands.
