Fargo native nominated for gospel Grammy award
Fargo native Jonny Lang has been nominated for another Grammy award. Lang’s song “I Believe,” which was performed with the Fisk Jubilee Singers, earned him the nomination in the best gospel performance category.
FARGO (AP) — Fargo native Jonny Lang has been nominated for another Grammy award.
Lang’s song “I Believe,” which was performed with the Fisk Jubilee Singers, earned him the nomination in the best gospel performance category.
Lang won his first Grammy in 2006 when he took home the trophy for best rock or rap gospel album with his “Turn Around” release. Lang previously was nominated for his heralded 1998 blues album “Wander This World.”
The awards will be announced on Jan. 31.
