Hearing on land buy

A McKenzie County commissioner says the group is likely to oppose a proposal by the American Foundation for Wildlife to buy nearly 1,000 acres of land in northwest North Dakota. Richard Cayko said more than 40 percent of the land in the county already is owned by the state or federal government.
