Mad cow worry prompts bison recall

A North Dakota bison processor is recalling about 25,000 pounds of whole beef heads because the animals’ tonsils may not have been taken out. The U.S. Agriculture Department said tonsils must be removed from all cattle to guard against the possible spread of mad cow disease.
