VC students take part in literature circles

Students at Washington Elementary School in Valley City, N.D., are spending more time reading, thanks to a program led by instructors at Valley City State University. Last year, VCSU education professors Amy Anderson and Joan Aus wanted to provide academic enrichment in literacy for Washington Elementary. The professors work frequently with the staff and students at Washington due to the student teaching practicums and other programs, so the two know the school and its students well.
