Belcourt, N.D., man drowns in Devils Lake

A Belcourt man drowned over the weekend when a car veered off a curve on state Highway 57 and plunged into Devils Lake. The Benson County sheriff’s office did not immediately identify the victim. Authorities say a female in the vehicle was treated at a hospital in the city of Devils Lake and released after the crash early Saturday.
