Other views: Stewart will be busy at Minot State
Pete Stewart, the new men’s basketball coach at Minot State University, is going to be a busy guy. Stewart, a Parshall native, was named the head coach Monday. The MSU job drew nearly 120 applicants, and with good reason. It’s a good job, although it’s certainly going to be a challenging one as MSU makes the transition from the NAIA to NCAA Division II over the next couple of years. Stewart comes to MSU from Port Angeles, Wash., where he coached a Peninsula College for the past seven years.By: Minot Daily News, The Jamestown Sun
