Letter to the editor: School Board’s policy on allowing use of facility right
It seems to me that the complaints by a few citizens against the Jamestown Public School District for allowing an educational Worldview Weekend Seminar to be held in a school facility are immature and unjustified. People with a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and a loving desire to serve our creator would not object to a Christian religious meeting held in any public facility. But, if I understand everything correctly, no student could attend without a permission note from the parents, so I think the school policy is fair and just to protect non-Christian parents from exposing their son or daughter to a philosophy that they think is not good for them to hear.By: Bob Tatum, The Jamestown Sun
