Carlson named Summit athlete of the month

North Dakota State’s Whitney Carlson has been named the Summit League Women’s Athlete of the month after setting two records in April. Carlson, a junior from Buchanan, broke the school record in the heptathlon (5,343) at the Mt. SAC/Cal Invitational Combined Events in April 15.
