Golf roundup: Three-way tie after first day
Geoff Ogilvy dropped into a three-way tie atop the Memorial leaderboard, giving up the outright lead by careless missing a par putt inside 3 feet. The consolation for Ogilvy was a 7-under 65 and a share of the lead Thursday with Rickie Fowler and Justin Rose. They were two shots ahead of a group that included Phil Mickelson, who can go to No. 1 in the world with a victory at Muirfield Village.
