Kidder County sheriff faces charges

STEELE, N.D. (AP) — Charges have been filed against the Kidder County sheriff in an investigation of campaign misconduct. Information released Thursday by Kidder County assistant state’s attorney Kathleen Trosen shows Doug Howard was charged Tuesday with three counts of corrupt practices relating to interfering with elections and one count of disorderly conduct.
