Heitkamp considers running in 2012

Former North Dakota Attorney General Heidi Heitkamp says she has been encouraged to run for governor in 2012, but won’t decide until after this fall’s election. “To everything there is a season. You kind of have to decide, what is the passion I have today? A lot of the things I cared about deeply when I ran in 2000 are still issues today. That always motivates me,” Heitkamp said Monday before making a speech in Moorhead encouraging young people to run for office.
