Curbside recycling gets OK: City committee expects to see it implemented next year
The City Council’s Public Works Committee voted 3-1 Monday to move forward on a residential recycling program for Jamestown, with the intention of implementing it next summer. Discussion on the options for the curbside pick-up program was lengthy after the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce Recycling Task Force presented two proposals and cost estimates.
