Letter to the editor: Crossing guard might help make JMS street safer

I have a daughter who goes to the Jamestown Middle School who rides bus in the morning but I pick her up often after school. I am normally at the JMS around 2:45 to 3 p.m. which gives me ample time to wait for her. The area around the school to pick up or drop off students is so congested that it is an accident waiting to happen as we saw on the morning of Oct. 25. It is unfortunate that our children are not safe around this area.
