Spartans skate by JHS girls

GRAND FORKS — A year ago the Jamestown girls’ hockey team surprised Fargo North by taking the Spartans to overtime. On Thursday, however, the third-seeded Spartans were ready. Maddie Hieb had two goals and an assist to lead Fargo North to a 3-1 victory over No. 6 seed Jamestown on Thursday night at the Ralph Engelstad Olympic Arena.
