NDSU plans equine shelter

North Dakota State University is making plans to serve as an emergency shelter for horses if a major spring flood hits the Fargo area. Carrie Hammer, NDSU’s equine studies director, told Prairie Public Radio that it the third consecutive year that the school has offered to shelter horses.
