Sorum considers entering governor race

BISMARCK — A Fargo architect considering a run for governor thinks he could beat Republican Gov. Jack Dalrymple and speculated Democratic challenger Heidi Heitkamp. Paul Sorum, 49, said he’s received “just an outpouring” of calls, emails and letters from people asking him to run for governor. Sorum, a Republican, lost the party’s nomination for U.S. Senate last year to John Hoeven.
