N.D. officials: New ban will be tough to enforce
Drivers who get caught texting in North Dakota will now face a stiff fine, but law officers say it is not easy to catch them. A ban on texting, reading emails and surfing the Internet while driving went into effect on Aug. 1. Violations carry a $100 fine. Before the statewide law was introduced, only Bismarck and Grand Forks had bans.
