Favorable weather advancing harvest

Favorable weather has helped advance harvesting progress across North Dakota. The Agriculture Department said in its weekly crop and weather report that barley was 99 percent turning and 58 percent harvested as of Sunday. Durum wheat was 96 percent in the milk stage, 82 percent turning and 13 percent harvested.
