UPDATED: Not as bad as predicted, 4 inches snow reported in Jamestown

Residents awoke today to better conditions than meteorologists had predicted for Wednesday morning. The reporting station at the North Dakota State Hospital reported 4 inches of new snow during a 24-hour period ending at 6 a.m. Forecasts indicate a little more snow may be possible.
