Travel alert issued for central, eastern southwest N.D.; includes Jamestown, Valley City

The North Dakota Department of Transportation and North Dakota Highway Patrol have extended the travel alert to include southwest, central and northeast North Dakota due to blowing snow sticking to the roadway causing scattered icy conditions. Motorists are encouraged to monitor local weather forecasts, reduce speeds and drive according to the conditions.
