Council approves performance bond

The Jamestown City Council dealt with two issues during a special meeting Thursday. The council approved a performance bond from Border State Paving for the street construction in several places in Jamestown this year. The $1.5 million bond is equal to the bid amount and guarantees the work will be completed, according to Jeff Fuchs, city administrator.
