Cardinals flock to state

They had the target on their backs all tournament, but the Carrington Cardinals lived up to all the expectations in New Rockford on Wednesday. A big 6-run bottom of the first inning supplied all the firepower the Cardinals would need, as Carrington’s memorable season rolls on after defeating Sheyenne-New Rockford 13-3 in the championship game of the Class B Region 3 baseball tournament.
