Fire on pallets stopped before it spreads

There were no injuries and no property damage was reported following a fire north of the old C.H. Carpenter Lumber building in Jamestown at about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to Jerry Kainz, deputy chief of the Jamestown Fire Department.
