UND athletics partners with Midcontinent

University of North Dakota athletics has a new broadcasting partner and a deal with a hefty price tag. Midcontinent Communications announced Monday it has acquired the broadcasting rights of UND athletics for $1 million over a five-year span. UND’s previous broadcasting contract was worth $40,000 per season and belonged to Forum Communications, which owns the Grand Forks Herald.
