Regional whooping cough cases near epidemic levels

The number of whooping cough cases could be unprecedented this year in Minnesota and North Dakota. In Minnesota, state projection mirrors a national trend, with the number of cases increasing at an epidemic rate. Almost 18,000 cases have been reported so far.
