American Indian students’ suit dismissed

Declaring that the long, contentious fight over the University of North Dakota’s Fighting Sioux nickname appears to be over, U.S. District Judge Ralph Erickson on Friday dismissed a lawsuit filed almost a year ago by six American Indian students at the university.
