Plant safety: Officials say ammonia plant won’t put area in any big danger of spills, other risks

The proposed $1.2 billion Spiritwood Nitrogen Project by CHS Inc. — expected to be completed by the second half of 2016 — would be one of the largest projects in state history, as referenced by the recent announcement of the proposed fertilizer plant by Gov. Jack Dalrymple and CHS officials.
