New Yorkers try for normalcy as Sandy approaches

NEW YORK (AP) — Defiant New Yorkers jogged, pushed strollers and took snapshots of churning New York Harbor Monday, trying to salvage normal routines in a city with no trains, schools and an approaching mammoth storm.
