Steil replaces Rantz with Twins

The Minnesota Twins have hired from within to fill some open spots in their organization. Brad Steil was named Thursday their new director of minor league operations, replacing Jim Rantz, who retired after a 52-year career with the Twins. Steil, a native of Litchfield, was the director of baseball operations for the last five years.
