Conrad: chance of being next ag secretary

North Dakotans could see familiar faces on President Barack Obama’s next Cabinet if he’s re-elected today. National Journal reported last month that North Dakota Democratic Sen. Kent Conrad is among the front-runners to serve as agriculture secretary if Tom Vilsack doesn’t come back — speculation that Conrad said he doesn’t agree with.
