Israel, Gaza militants trade fire in escalation

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — Israeli aircraft struck the Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing a Palestinian man, as militants bombarded the Jewish state with rockets and mortars in a fierce second day of fighting.
