Jays take fifth at state

Jamestown coach Dave Tews was hoping for a top-five finish at the state gymnastics meet on Friday, but it wasn’t easy. Despite a tough day on the balance beam, the Blue Jays scored a 139.850 to edge Bismarck Century for the fifth spot in Valley City.
