N.D. leads U.S. in personal income growth

North Dakota led the nation in personal income growth during the first three months of the year, a turnaround from the first quarter of 2007 when the state ranked last. The dramatic reversal was a direct result of the fortunes of farmers and oil producers in the state, officials say.
