Officials approve settlement for land

City commissioners in Fargo have approved a $1.85 million settlement involving 35 acres of land. The settlement is with the Fargo School District for land taken for a construction project. It calls for the city to pay $1.25 per square foot for two parcels that will be used for storm water retention and street and utilities right of way.
