Raise college presidents’ salaries based on merit

Although not begrudging the presidents of the state’s colleges and universities a pay hike, it would seem given their substantial salaries and the Legislature’s generosity with tax dollars to higher ed’s budget, that the chancellor and the North Dakota Board of Higher Education would at least parcel out those salary increases based on merit.
